The sutra in the ( 7.198) that gives cūrppam (sūrpa/śūrpa) as a quasi-synonym for cuḷaku is added with a star by editor of the editio princeps, but it appears to be there in ( 6.584). The quotes 393.13v (cuḻal maram colitta cuḷaku alai veḷ kāḻ, the white kernels dispersed on the winnowing fan that had been removed from the Cuḻal tree), which is an emendation by a late corrected paper copy which then was adopted into all the editions. nounoblique
